Weekend 2 of the Yorkshires brings more COSSS medals

After the first weekend of the long course Yorkshire Championships, it was going to be tough to better the performance over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of February at the John Charles Centre in Leeds. COSSS swimmers stepped up their performances to achieve more medals and finals places.

Dan and Tegan retire from competitive swimming

 Senior Elite swimmers Dan Cocking and Tegan Turner-Clarke have both announced their retirement from competitive swimming.  Russ Barber describes two impressive swimming careers.

Successful Bag Pack for JO2 at Sainsbury’s

Swimmers from JO2 had the opportunity to raise funds for their forthcoming trip to Wear Valley by bag packing at Sainsbury's on Archer Road on Saturday 2nd March.

Mark Lappin appointed as Head Coach at Borough of Kirkless

 Russ Barber reports that Mark has announced that he has been appointed as Head Coach at Borough of Kirklees.

COSSS prominent at the British Open International Meet

The British Open International Meet was held at the John Charles Centre in Leeds over four days between the 7th and 10th March. The entrance comprised the top swimmers from the UK and a number of swimmers from other countries.The COSSS entry included COSSS swimmers from JO1, AGN and Senior Elite aiming to reach junior (under 16 and 18 for girls and boys respectively) and open finals.
