Swimmers from JO3 and Junior Development competed in the ever-popular Dartes B Grade level 4 meet, held at the Adwick Leisure Centre. It's always a very busy meet, squeezing in a large number of swimmers (and parents!) into a great day of sprints competition.

This year swimmers from JO1 and AGN competed in the annual SportsAid meet at John Charles Centre, Leeds. The money raised from the meet over the weekend of 11th/12th May goes toward the SportsAid charity which supports athletes, including swimmers, across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

We are pleased to announce the creation of a new gala in our program, a Level 1 Summer Meet taking place at Ponds Forge on July 6th.  Further gala information and a Sportsys Entry Fileset can be found on our Forthcoming Galas page.

A small group of swimmers from Senior Elite, Masters and Junior Development squads competed at the Deventio Level 1 Meet at Ponds Forge over the weekend of the 11th/12th of May. The Senior Elite swimmers are in the middle of hard training in preparation for meets later in the season so it provided an opportunity to swim untapered against some of the other top swimmers in the country and also to some events they swim infrequently.

Senior Elite swimmer James Crisp competed at the British DSE Open Championships which took place at Ponds Forge between the 25th and 28th of April. His impressive performances in the 100 back and 200 IM means that he has qualified to represent Britain at the IPC World Championships in August at Montreal, Canada. Congratulations James!
